It’s been a goooodddd minute since I posted somethin’ but I have returned sugaplumz : )
But any who, moving onto today’s topic…there’s an invasion going on in our nation. It’s a certain type of female that have been around since the beginning of time, but recently the numbers have increased so much that this pandemic passed the BITCHASSNESS virus. Quite sad. This classification of females are called BASIC BITCHES!!! These females roam the Earth, our nation, our states, our communities, our schools on a daily. They are everywhere. Now the problem with these basic bitches are that not only are they annoying as hell with the way they look and act but also the male species are so attracted and infatuated with these type of females that it’s hard for the very few number of us fabulous women to be taken seriously when it comes to a relationship. I’m going to educate ya’ll on how to spot a basic bitch and remove yourself from her presence before you too become a “BB”…yes they ARE contagious after being within 10 feet of them for at least two days. 1st…let’s go over what a basic bitch looks like shall we.

CLOTHING:
The average basic bitch’s wardrobe consists of all or at least one of the Black owned name brand clothing such as…ENYCE, APPLE BOTTOMS, FETISH (OH LORD I DON’T EVEN THINK EVE MAKES THAT SHIT N E MORE), DEREON, AND THE OH SO LOVED BY HOODRATS ALL OVER LINE…BABY PHAT. A BB will rock a regular ass shirt with 1 of the brands listed above etched on in gold ass, scripted letters with matching jeans and shoes. Also, a BB will try her HARDEST to match her purse with her outfit. If her ‘fit is blue she will most likely purchase a blue bag when she buys her outfit. A Basic Bitch always dresses matchy matchy from head 2 toe…in 2009. BB’s also like to have some type of accessory that has Betty Boop or Winnie The Pooh as well, it’s usually a purse, or shirt, or shoes…gross.

HAIR:
A BB wears her hair in a very…well average style. If she wears weave, it will usually be long as hell to a point where everyone around her knows that shit ain’t hers. Or her weave can be a nice length but 8 out of 10 times it’s jacked 2 the maxx. Tracks visible as hell, real hair is nappy as fuck while the weave is bone straight or the color doesn’t match her natural hair. Another look BB’s go for are ponytails…yes I said it, get mad. A BB will swing that ponytail like it’s the best thing since sliced bread and in this case 9 out of 10 times the ponytail will be light brown while her real hair is jet black…causing the two toned look. Unacceptable. Forbidden. Twit Picable and u know u don’t want that!! There are also BB’s who wear their own hair but the problem with that is that they never do anything new with it. They wear it down and straight at all times, or just put it in a quick ponytail and/or bun, sometimes put too much grease in their head to a point where it doesn’t even move when she moves her head or her ends are split more than a stripper’s legs at Deja Vu…smh.

PHYSICAL FEATURES:
A BB’s physical features vary. Regardless the facial features of a BB are either just AIGHT or ugly point blank period. There’s nothing about her face that make her a beauty or even pretty. Hell, most of the time a BB could look like another BB you’ve probably seen before. The body of a BB now is categorized into 2 groups: The No Shapes or The ButtaHeads. The BB’s with no body are usually the ones who strive to wear cute clothes but fail at that attempt and always do the most when it comes to looking good whether it be putting on way 2 much make-up, or wearing unflattering clothes. Now, the BB population is 75% Buttaheads…the females that are tip drills bc it surely must be her ass cause it AIN’T her face. The ones who a nigga would fuck if she had a paper bag over her head. Yes, buttahead BB’s come a dime a dozen.

ATTITUDE:
Now we’re at the most annoying trait of BB’s…their attitudes. There are two types of BB’s but in the end they all act the same *rolls eyes*. The 1st type of BB are the ones who try to disguise their basicness by simply TRYING to be fabulous and always bragging about what she has…material wise. The Basic Bitch in Fab clothing has nothing to offer. She’s not talented in anything, she doesn’t like to open her mind to new things and she loves to only engage in the cliche pastimes…”clubbing, hanging with friends and shopping”…chyeah just look on a BB’s facebook and you’ll see what I mean. Also she will always be shouting from the rooftops about how many “haters” she has to deal with on a daily. A BB in Fab clothing will always have a status on FB or Tweet on Twitter talking about some “Ugh these bitches are always hatin’ on me, guess that’s the price of being fly” or some dumb shit like that. People who have REAL haters don’t talk about them, they just let them be the fuel to their fire by doing something with themselves. Basic Bitches have IMAGINARY HATERS just like children have imaginary friends. The other type of BB is the type who are just so plain jane that nobody ever really notices her. She always has boring ass statuses or tweets talking about some “just got back from hanging with so and so…had fun. Time for bed. Goodnight.” Yeah goodnight 2 that info we don’t care about!!! This type of BB is blah as fuck but has a man at least 85% of the time (and yes ppl are shocked at that fact) and 70% of the time the guy is actually attractive and oh so in love with her. Smh 2x. Let’s get to how a BB acts when it comes to a relationship shall we?? A Basic Bitch makes the phrase “Ride or Die” chick something that real women no longer want to claim due to the fact that if a BB is with a no good ass, lying, cheating little boy she will not leave him once she has evidence that he indeed fucks other females and/or gets them pregnant as well, she will stay by his side after drying her eyes and she will call the females her man has slept with the hoes. Dumb I know right. A BB will preach that she’s WIFEY (if u ain’t THE WIFE with an acutal ring u ain’t shit low key) and he always will come back to her and these other bitches don’t matter and blahzay blahzay….girl please, you look like a damn fool. BB’s have took the term “ride or die” and twisted it so that when we now hear a female say “I’m a ride or die bitch” then usually she has a boyfriend who be doing her DIR-TY with his community dick. Not a good look.

So now that you all know how to spot a Basic Bitch… my ladies, don’t befriend a BB or even look their way. Majority of the fellas have already been sucked into their web except a good 20% of em know a BB when they see one and run. So for the scarce number of guys who don’t want a basic bitch…protect yourself.

The FR3SH, The Good & The Ugly (BET Awards Review)

If you don’t live under a rock I’m sure you all tuned in last night to watch the BET awards hosted by Jamie Foxx. Since Michael Jackson’s passing on Thursday BET basically had to rearrange the whole, entire show in order to pay tribute to the pop icon just in three days. The show wasn’t HORRIBLE like a lot of people are saying but there were some bittersweet moments I will admit. Although I do think people set their expectations too high for last night’s show because we all knew that MJ would be the highlight of the night. Many thought Chris Brown would perform a special tribute to MJ but were highly disappointed when he was nowhere in sight. Let’s be serious with ourselves people….Chris just got five years probation, 180 days of community service, a requirement to attend domestic-abuse classes for a year AND he must stay 50 yards away 4rom Rihanna (except functions like award shows where he has to stay 10 yards away) 4 five years….do YOU REALLY THINK he was gonna perform?? Like fa real?? Yes I know it would of been some GOOD SHIT and made MJ proud (since he basically is the only other person who can dance like mike) if Chris was able to perform but the whole Rihanna incident is just too fresh 4 that to have happened. My whole opinion of the show is it was decent for the time they had to re-do everything so let’s cut BET some slack folks. There will be plenty more MJ tributes aired soon that are more organized. For now what people really need 2 worry about is letting MJ literally REST IN PEACE..damn!!! But let’s go over the FR3SH, the good and the UGLY moments that everyone is talking about from last night’s show.

NE-YO PERFORMING “LADY OF MY LIFE”

I loved Ne-yo’s performance. He sang MJ’s heartfelt song with such tranquility, it brought tears to millions of people’s eyes. Go head Ne-yo!!

BEYONCE PERFORMING “AVE MARIA” & SARAH MCLACHLAN’S “ANGEL”

She was AMAZING…and I won’t argue. Bey has many many haters but I’m sure everyone can agree that she did a GREAT job last night. Her voice is incredible.

JAY-Z SHITTIN’ ON THESE LAME “MC’S” WITH “D.O.A” (CAN’T WAIT 4 BP 3!!)

Yes Jay, u’ve done it again….spoke the truth and nothin’ less. Got a lot of fellow rappers pissed but I mean somebody had 2 say somethin’ and who else could say what’s real but Hov??

MAXWELL’S “PRETTY WINGS” PERFORMANCE

Maxwell…got damn he can sing me 2 sleep n e night!!! His voice is just so smooth and comforting. His “Pretty Wings” performance was great. I really enjoyed it. He didn’t give 2 much and not 2 little. Perfect.

JANET JACKSON’S 1ST APPEARANCE SINCE MICHAEL JACKSON’S DEATH

All I can say about Janet is…she a damn soldier FORRR REAL. It took a lot of courage to do what she did. I salute her and have nothin’ but respect for what she did. God Bless Janet!!

THE GOOD

JAMIE FOXX’S BLAME IT PERFORMANCE

Jamie was basically all over the place last night lol. His “Blame It” performance was pretty good. T-Pain and that (literally) BIG ASS CHAIN was doin’ 2 much, along with him sippin Nuvo (that’s my ish tho) on stage…so damn country lmao.

KERI HILSON PERFORMANCE

Intro was spectacular with the whole motorcycle and MJ ensemble she sported. I love Ms. Keri but I think she needs to get her stamina up before tryin’ 2 dance here and there like Mike. Overall her performance was good.

SOULJA BOY’S “TURN MY SWAG ON” PERFORMANCE

What can I say about Soulja Boy. As coon-like as his music is…I will admit it’s quite catchy and hard 2 escape. I enjoyed his “Turn My Swag” on performance, the ginormous bed was a nice touch. It wasn’t a great performance but it wasn’t horrible either.

THE O’JAY’S TRIBUTE

The O’Jays received the lifetime achievement award and who can forget Eddie Levert sayin’ SHIT before the bleep??!! Lol hilarious. But artists Johnny Gill, Trey Songz, Tevin Campbell and the oh so sexy Tyrese performed a few of the legendary group’s songs. Good tribute overall but a tad long…thanks 2 Don Cornelius talking 1 mph…but that’s Don 4 ya tho always did talk slow.

THE UGLY

NEW EDITION PERFORMANCE

Ugh I’m so disappointed in New Edition’s tribute. The group (minus Bobby of course) performed some of MJ’s songs from when he was young such as “ABC” and “The Love You Save”. The imitation of The Jackson Five moves were okay but the singing….hmmm more practice fellas.

CIARA MURDERING “HEAL THE WORLD”

They really couldn’t get somebody else to sing “Heal The World”??? Smh oh Ciara….A1 dancer you are but I think singing needs to be your last priority. Not only does “Super C” always run out of breath at 90% of her performances that I’ve seen by tryin’ 2 be another Beyonce (singing&dancing…FAST…it ain’t 4 everybody!!) but this performance oh lord it just didn’t do it 4 me. They should have let someone like Jill Scott, Vivian Green, Floetry, or India Arie do this one. FAIL.

YOUNG MONEY’S STRAIGHT COONERY

I love Weezy, point blank, period. But I was SHAKING MY DAMN HEAD at him and the rest of Young Money’s performance last night. Now Drake he was good it’s just too bad he tore his ACL so he had to perform sitting down but at least he was able to perform. But when “Every Girl” came on and Weezy galloped on stage that’s when it was downhill 4rom there. Majority of Drake’s songs are quite vulgar so it didn’t help that every damn word was bleeped out, especially on Wayne’s verse lol. And what was up with the LITTLE ASS GIRLS on stage with them??!! It’s just disturbing that 7 year old’s were on stage while the lyrics “I wish I could fuck (well edited version says LOVE) every girl in the world”. No no no. But what made matters even WORSE was when Weezy performed “Always Strapped” (alongside Birdman’s daddy wannabe ass) and had the nerve 2 say put your hands up 4 MJ DURING a song that let’s us know that nigga is always strapped when he hits the club…No. Michael Jackson was not about violence my nigga. I mean you really think “Beat It” wasn’t written 4 anti-gang purposes??!! As much as I’m a fan of Wayne and Drake and the rest of Young Money I was highly embarrassed during their performance. Thank God they didn’t involve Nicki in that mess.

There you have it sugaplumz the FR3SH, the Good, and the Ugly BET moments…agree or disagree the show was pretty okay for the time they had.
